Combining large firm expertise
with small firm attention
Gray R. Proctor
Gray Proctor always wanted to be an appellate attorney.
He clerked in the federal judiciary for five years after graduating from Vanderbilt University Law School. Gray left the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals to open a solo appellate practice in Orlando. As of counsel for a respected appellate firm, he learned Florida practice from one of the true superstars of the profession and became known for handling first party property appeals throughout the state.
Gray has won appeals throughout Florida’s District and Circuit Courts, and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh and Fourth Circuits. His writings have appeared in the Hamline Law Review, the Federal Sentencing Reporter, the Florida Bar Journal, the Journal of the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar, the Bloomberg/BNA Criminal Law Reporter, and the Journal of the Florida Justice Association.
